The Urban Cultivator is a redesigned version of a “high-wheel cultivator,” a tool traditionally used in rural settings for farming and gardening purposes. By exchanging the usual rake attachment at the base of the cultivator with the head of a broom, this cultivator is now capable of sweeping streets in an urban setting. All parts of the cultivator--the wooden handles, metal wheel, axle and braces--were fabricated by hand (with the exception of the broom and fasteners).
